Reading Comprehension FTL
So I posted up some pictures from my high school graduation over on Facebook this morning. I put them in an album titled “Gibbs High School Graduation - 1990.” My Uncle left a comment on one of the pictures.
Where/when was this taken? A bit old ain’t it?
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.

E = Em Cee Greevy: "You're too cocky, you're too confident."
Yeah, that’s right. This is my kid.
No. No I am not.
Yes, I am confident. Yes, I am sure of myself. Yes, I do occasionally look in the mirror, despite my over weight body, despite my severe acne, despite my shitty dress sense, yes I do look in the mirror occasionally and say “Damn, you look good.”
I’m sorry I’m not too busy…
